As a wife of a professional hockey player and mother of a 1 year old I make recipes that are both easy to make and will fill you up. I love sharing my knowledge of eating this way as it trancends and has a ripple effect on the planet and animals.

Hi I'm alyssa

Certified yoga instructor & plant-focused nutrition coach. Going plant based is intimidating and the learning curve is huge. I want to help. As someone that grew up with digestive issues, destined to have colon cancer by the time I was 30, researching & finding my own medicine in food was what saved me.  As a wife of a former professional hockey player and mother of a two boys I make food for us that is filling, tasty, but most importantly quick & simple. Certified in plant-based nutrition by e-Cornell I love sharing my knowledge and the science behind eating this way and what it does for the human body- not to mention the impact it can have as it transcends to the planet and animals. As a yoga instructor I love to inspire others trying to manage stress to instead find their inner power to find peace. Through poses that relieve stuck emotions and breath work that calms the nervous system, especially in motherhood. Our body is not our enemy. It is designed to heal and help us- we just need to find the right tools, and the confidence in our own selves.
