Revitalizing Berry Mango Smoothie Bowl


Makes about 1 large smoothie bowl

Ingredients:

  • Handful of frozen mango

  • Handful of frozen mixed berries

  • Optional splash of vanilla extract

  • Optional drizzle of maple syrup (if you like sweeter)

  • Splash of almond milk or vanilla soy milk


Toppings:

  • Banana, sliced

  • Strawberries, sliced

  • Granola of choice

  • Hemp seeds

  • Optional sliced/shredded coconut

  • Drizzle of almond butter


Instructions:

Add frozen fruit to a high powered blender. If you don't have a good high powered blender use a food processor. Add just a splash of almond milk. Most blenders are going to require you blend, shake, stir, and repeat a few times to get more of an ice cream texture than a smoothie texture. Add a little splash of milk as you go only if absolutely necessary and shaking isn't working. You want it to be thick on your spoon not watery like a regular smoothie.


Once you have an ice cream texture, scoop into a bowl and add all of your toppings and enjoy!
